They've struggled against New England in the past and it really showed this weekend.Their rivalry has developed and grown drastically over the past decade or so. His ability to extend plays with his legs and create more opportunities was wiped away by New England's defense. When Roethlisberger is able to bide time it works wonders for his game. Not to mention he's the hardest QB to bring down in the NFL.Hines Ward's injury really plagued the offense throughout. Not just his receiving, but equally as important, his blocking was missed greatly. Without Ward, the running game was a non-factor.The real story of this game though as the night developed was another New England tight end. This wasn't Hernandez, though, but rather Rob Gronkowski.
